i agree with Davii
you can kill the monks, and when your hp gets low, talk to one to get yourself healed, wont need any food at all that way :]
Goblins I'd say.
I'll say fight cows. Then that way you can take there cowhides to the bank in lummy castle and make some cash while getting alright exp for your levels.
