Right so this year I have to have an operation behind my nose because something is blocking my adanoids.
I've never been able to breath out of my nose properly since I was like born so I just sound like I have a cold 24/7 (might have noticed if you've heard me on air.)
But anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similiar op + whether it hurts after and how long i'll be in hospital etc. cos i've never had an operation before. :]

My sister got them removed, I don't know how much it hurted, but she was in hospital for 2 days :).
My Dad Had It Done - dont Know How Much It Hurt - I Just Put Menthol Oil All over his pillow to make it sting :)
Aaah, i had my adenoids taking out when i was a kid and now theyv grown back. Iv got to have them removed plus some lumps in my nose and throat plus my tonsils next month and ther stretching the nasel passage or sumit.
I got permenant tonsilitus and sinusitus atm. Its not nice ;[

When i was a kid and just haed my adenoids out it didnt hurt from what i can remember.
Il tell u how it goes second time round but itl def hurt cos of all the other stuff im havin done.
Im only going to be in hospital overnight.
U might be able to be in and out in one day with just your adonoids. It wont be longer then one overnight stay anyway.
Not had it done to me, But Ive had 8 Nose operations because I used to get nose bleeds, it used to stop after the operation n then the next year it wud start again, Its only just stopped. Though i was put to sleep n the next day i cudnt feel nething it was fine, GL with your operation though.
