I dont know how to put this,

Hi all

I have a girlfriend, and we are both 13 and we started going out a few days ago. We really, really like each other :) She said if we are still dating by 16 August (Her Birthday) then we could have sex PROTECTED. Me and her both insist its protected. But I heard rumors that using a condom doesnt 100% stop you from pregnancy or STD's. Is this true? :(

Also, should I have sex at my age even if its protected? We would be waiting for a while to see if its works out and all, and we are both 100% sure.

don't have sex at 13, or even 14 (especially if you're just turning 14). it's a pretty stupid thing to do. that's pretty much all you need to know right now.

I didnt see a thread like this earlier. Also, can her mum take me to court if she finds out because we ae under 16? And will my mum not talk to me for ages if she finds out!

We can't read minds - thats upto you to know, how does your mum react when you do something wrong? .. We don't know you're mum. (All jokes aside ;)).

I just think this thread is a little immature.. no she can't take you to court as the legal age for sex is 16 and it's okay for you both to have sex if you're 16 etc. Obviously condoms cannot prevent pregnancy 100% etc.

condoms are never 100%.. the only 100% effective method is not doing it :P
just be careful..
make sure she's on the pill and you use your protection.. lol :rolleyes:

and uh.
I say do it if your ready.. lol.. If you arent ready then dont. I guess its good that your waiting till you're 16.. but still.. if you do it.. make sure you both have protection.. and you're both clean :P
