What Would You Take With You?
Recently, on a street close to my house, there was a house fire. The owners of the house were away in another city, and lost everything in the house except for a few wardrobes and the contents of three cupboards. When they arrived back at the house they were devistated. They had lost virtually everything. Later that night, the upstairs exploded. The roof of the house was burned right through and only a quarter of the roof is left. The house is now considered potentially unsafe and is out of bounds for everyone. The house joined on to the one that set on fire also had contents damaged, but fortunately it was only a bath and the back of a bed.
Seeing this fire made me wonder. If your house set on fire, and you were in while it happened, what would be the one thing you would try and save before you exited the house? Please do not say your dog/cat/other pet or any living thing. Please just say objects. ;]
Nobody deserves to see their house burned down or to find out it has burned down. The people that lived there had only moved in at Christmas time and had not even settled in. The people in the house were nice people, and definetly did not deserve this.
Anyway, back to the thread. Post what you would take with you and if you can, perhaps why?
Thanks, Adam. ;]
