Services page now done, what do you think of the splash page?

What do you mean up to now?
I know it is kind of big, I need to work on making it smaller.

The logo looks abit childish :S
I am a graphics designer myself, and I am opening a graphics service website, and I have to say this really doesn't come close.

No,

and using an image map is childish.
Well lets see some of your famous, "good" logos then?

I can not code wesites, and never said I could, therefore to keep the high-standard of my work, I used an image. It still does the same job, and still keeps the high-quality graphic work.
All work that I carry out is for clients, and therefore I can not release all images due to the secretive nature. I am making MMOCCMonthly, and have put together another real-life magazine in the past. I think that is enough :)

Magazines are not a tough job. I run one for 3 years at the local college in my area which was distributed free to all of the county in the mail.
It was high quality gloss. To you the logo may look "childish" but it is actually family friendly.
Lots of places/people have asked for custom applications from me. I was walking through the Mall with that logo on my shirt when some business asked if I could make them a stock system to run on their local server that communicated with their PDA's and scanners.
The demographics on logos are highly accurate. I have seen that family friendly/light colored logos are more pleasing to the eyes and don't look so "Stuck up business" like.
