Rats

I just wanted to know what you guys/gurls think about rats as pets.


I used to have one about 2 years ago sadly he died when he was just 1 of a tumour

Now im getting 2 rats *Dumbo rats* they are very cute.

2 males Lemmiwinks and Captin (thats is when i get them lol)

So what are your views on rats as pets ?

I had rats. They're cute to play with but they do smell :l

edit: Oops. I thought i was on my main accoutn for a mo then

I always consider them as vermin lol. I'm sure they can be good pets though, my step-sister had one and it just sniffed around in it's cage tbh.

I love them they're proper cute

at person who said they smell, they don't really smell, they're acctually really hygienic.

they make great pets imo and they're really clever.

Depends, if they have rabies then I wouldn't agree with it.

If they're tamed then yes, they would be good :) (Minus the smell..)

My rats got cancer and died :l

Lemmiwinks, haha! South Park. ;) Personally, I wouldn't keep a rat as a pet. They belong outdoors and there are much more interesting pets you can get.

I dont really know about rat's but I had mise once we let it free becasue If was stinking in the house and could'nt keep smelling tht.
