thing is, lately we havnt been talking as much and i feel we are growing apart, but i feel whatever happens we will both be great friends, whatever happens.

It's obvious that you like her, but whether you could call it love would depend on how you define the word - some people would say love only occurs when the other person loves you back, for example.
tbh though that's not important - if you like her then... keep going i guess :D
Love is difficult to explain.. Tbh you've pretty much done it.
It's the best feeling in the world, you'd give anything to be with one another, love each other no matter what, understand each other completely and trust each other to the maximum. For me that's what love is.
