Found wood in my winegums...

Lovely... lol

I bought a pack of winegums today and was just eating away at them, then I put one in my mouth and thought "Hmm this is a bit.. crunchy" lmao. So I took it out and looked - and theres a big peice of wood lodged in the winegum and sticking out of it... Like a sort of woodchip.

I'm gonna send a letter of complaint cause my mums raging saying it could've damaged my throat and all this lol.

What do you think they will do if anything? lol :p

The pics aren't great but I think it's clear where the big peice of wood is. on top of the gum lol...

Haha that sucks, wine gums are well nice. You'll probably get an apology, you should demand like 10000 packets as compensation. :)

Lol yeh that defeats the whole principle though...

What if I had swallowed it and choked? What if I had swallowed it and it was sharp enough to rip my throat? What if other packets have them too and someone doesn't realise and swallows it whilst my knowledge could have prevented it?

As a consumer you shouldn't have to be watching in case you swallow a piece of wood when you buy something. I have the right to complain and I plan to do so.

They will probably just offer you like so many free packets.

I remember that Program where it looked for dodgy shops and things and every week somone found like a spider in there mars bars or something, and got like 500 free mars bars etc.
