I NEED TOOTHACHE RELIEF!!!

Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting in class chewing my gum when suddenly it began to get a bit hard :S After a bit of an investigation i realized I had chipped my tooth! I now have a tooth with the whole front part like gone from it and any time i eat or drink the sugar etc. just goes straight to it and it aches like mad.

It's been killing me ALL day!

I have a dentist appointment for the beginning of next week, but in the mean time Im just looking for some p[ain releavers? Anyone got any ideas for me? I will be EXTREMELY grateful!

Tablets?
Eat soft foods, chew on your back teeth, drink yazoo's (oh mama they are lurvely), don't eat sugary foods and replace with something strong flavoured so you don't just have to eat boring foods ?
I had the same problem back in my dozy days and ran into a pole, knocking off half of my front tooth, don't worry I do have a cap on it now.
