We'll Im not a pro at merching but I know a Whip is good to merch (heard from some friends), Just cruise through and find a fit price, and try to buy less, and sell 100k more.

Buy round 10 dragon bows in world 2 falador for 3mil at the statue where u tele, change to a pking world tele to edgeville with home tele if ur on ancient or with glory and sell them 3.2mil - 3.3mil thats easy 2 mil.
barrows? idk i usually sell barrows at knock down coz im too impatient to sell them proper.y
Don't bother merchanting.. or only be sure you can sell it quick, cos the grand exchange is coming soon which most likely will kill merchanting
