Security forces in Iraq have been placed on alert on the first anniversary of the execution of former President Saddam Hussein.

That's gone quick, so it's one year today that Iraq lost a leader who knew how to lead and stop his country turning into a civil hellhole.

By giving them no human rights and killing anyone who spoke against him... That's some brill leadership mate... Maybe Gordon Brown should do it to control us bunch of animals - oh wait, he's already managing to do so without having to use aggressive methods. :rolleyes:

You need to learn about the Middle East.

You cannot control Middle Eastern countrys by democracy like we know it, look at Africa they have it and oh, they're starving! Saddam actually gave them more than they have now believe it or not, then they had water, security, food, had the freedom to wear western clothes. Now they have none of that and their freedom is less, particulary the women who now have to cover up because the Shia muslims are in control.
