Apprenticeship in office work?

I am thinking of doing an apprenticeship in office work. Is office work a good thing to go into? I was going to go back to college to do a IT course but I went to see my connextions advisor yesterday and he reccomended apprenticeship and because I wasn't sure what sort of computing I wanted to do he mension office work just woundering if its a good thing to go into :) I know it wouldn't be that hard to get a job once I have the right grades as almost every place has a office lol

Tbh, there is no definitive list of whats good to go into and whats not. My sister does Nursing, I wouldn't be able to stand it, but she loves me.

Personally the office environment has many advantages and disadvantages. Its fun, but repetitive. Socially its good because your always around people.

Look for big companies in your areas with offices/call centres and ask if they have any jobs going. If not ask about work experience.
