nme sucks. i used to think rolling stone was close-minded and irrational, but then i found nme.
nme does not suck, americans do not know the meaning of 'indie'. sorry mate it had to be said
but on topic.. i wish i had tickets, might go down on the night and get a ticket off a tout, the line up is good
actually it's the other way around. american indie is completely different than uk indie. uk indie has a very specific sound, while american indie has no specific sound at all. it's very diverse and has a wide variety of influences. proof that nme is pretentious and close minded is their one-star review of "blueberry boat" by the fiery furnaces. i wont even go into their whole 2004 arcade fire scandal.Quote:

i might go, but i only really want to see klaxons and bloc party. i saw klaxons last month, and they were amazing, and seen as this might be the only gig they play this year, i wanna try and get to it
