Make text tighter?

is there a code so you make the text closer together

I'm not sure if you can in html, try doing it with images

With CSS. Define distance between characters:

letter-spacing: 1px;

Between words:

word-spacing: 30px;

If your using PSCS2 I can help you, but I doubt you are

Are we taliing webpage/ graphics program / Ms word? or what.

Judging the right amount of space between characters is called kerning by the way, not making text tighter.
