EU fines microsoft 1.4 billion dollars

I cannot believe it. 1.4 BILLION dollars. This is off course on top of the fines from July 2006 and March 2004.

I can't really understand why this has happened just from looking at the text, but fines such as this one and the one where McLaren(?) got fined for spying on other F1 giants are simply outrageous.

I don't get the reason why :S Loads of companies have these anti-competitive issues. Some European countries don't like Apple iTunes because that's anti-competitive. It's madness!

I quite agree, Microsoft should open up and allow new programmers to get into the market.

They fined because they're jealous of microsoft and want all their money :(
