Those small computer repair shops usually sell cheaply refurbished ones.
You can get second hand laptops that are basically brand new as they have been overhauled from both major and independent computer shops.
Theres a laptop brand new going for £99.99
local papers, ask around friends, ex-display models from shops, etc.
