I've got college interviews coming up pretty soon and i've started to think about what to wear, but im stumped :(
I'm thinking something smasual [smart/casual], but im not really sure where to start looking, and it has to be cheap, well, not primark/asda cheap but you know what i mean, chances are i'm only gonna wear this a few times

yeh, im not sure about this either. my friend went formal, but she was the only one, veryone went casual. i dont want to go casual and look un-presentable, but i also dont want to look stupid going in a suit+tie.
if you dont want too cheap
go for something like next or topman
and get maybe a smart pair of trousers
then a shirt and a black jumper

Unless you're planning on going to some posh private college or sixth form, honestly they don't care what you wear, just wear jeans and a t shirt and you'll fit in with the crowd.
