Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Wes Brown have agreed new contracts with Manchester United.
Ferguson was informed of the news by chief executive David Gill this morning but the length of the deals has not been revealed.

Nice to see you've kept two VERY average players at your club.
I don't rate Wes Brown at all. I think he's a lower Premiership standard player who's probably just got a fairly large wage increase.

Didnt ferdinand say he wanted to be at the club longer than Maldini at milan? In the premier league that cant happen because its too physical. I think its good for Man Utd to have these contracts sorted anyway :D
