JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Police arrested a man accused of breaking into a home and stealing a jar of pennies.
Police say Dwayne Scott Smith, Jr., 18, burglarized his father's house on Free Avenue earlier this month.
He told police he needed to get his wallet to cash a check, even though his father told police Smith hadn't lived at the home for at least a month.
Police say Smith stole about $5 worth of pennies.
