I am wondering for a name of a movie. I watched it awhile ago at school...

It had like, this man, his little daughter and like 15 year old son.
Massive lightning hits this town and stuff. And cars all stop and electricity ect and a monster comes out of the ground, like a spider or something zapping people...

I really wanna know the name of this movie, ill rep+
