The chat is never used, because it isnt embeded into the forum. I think you should use this chat, http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=168992 cos it can be embeded and more people would use it.

They've just paid a lot of money for the license for it so I doubt they will change it, and the other one was apparently a security threat.
Embedding it would be useless on a huge forum, no-one would see your post and you wouldn't see replies to your post. It was a bit pointless getting a chat though which won't be used alot...

The only lag that would be caused (in terms of loading a page) would be loading the flash file which would probably add an extra 0.3 seconds to the loading time :rolleyes:Quote:
