Let the battery run down, sometimes when I overcharge my ipod it fails to turn off.
just let the battery die then charge again.
Maybe you can put it into recovery mode,
Go on google and search Ipod classic 30gb recovery mode
and it should tell u how
Also search ure problem on google theres probly 10000 people that have expirienced the same thing
theirs always the answer of, hold down menu and the middle button for about 10 seconds or plug it into your computer and press restore
Try connecting it to your computer and see if it detects it. Maybe it has a dead battery?
