I have had a saw throat since saturday.
I have tried loads of things to get rid of it, but nothings working.
I have used:
Paracetamol
Ibuprofen
hayfever tablets (Sometimes get saw throat when I get hayfever)
Ice Cream
Lockets
Lots of drinks.
the only thing which has worked so far is alcohol, which dosn't get rid of it 100%.
Last time I have had saw throats, it hasn't taken this long to get rid.
Could it be something else? Or do I have to put up with it even longer?

I love to drink really fizzy ice-cold water to make it feel relieved, although it probably won't cure you. Just to help the pain. =D
Also take 2 tablets of Propene Plus which will knock out the soreness but it will knock you out of conciousness! Its like walking around when you've just woken up, your skin is tough and warm but extremely smooth and your touching senses are not connecting. Nice =)
I sometimes get a saw throat and when i do, i get it all day and nothing i take gets rid of it.
Try take your mind off it by doing somthing you enjoy with your mates, like i enjoy doing dirt jumping and if i have a saw throat it kinda forget about it and i cant really feel it.
Try not to do stuff where your sitting down, like playing on the PC as it don't tend to take your mind off it. You need to be active.
Thats always helped me anyway and drinking normal drinks makes it hurt more.
Just seen you said you have had it since saturday, well if it still saw then i think you should ring up the doctors and check it out as it could be something serious.
Ice cream doesn't actually help - the sugar coats the throat with phlegm and actually makes your throat worse following the temporary cooling sensation.

Your use of english is appalling BTW. SORE THROAT. Unless you can cut wood with it?
Just leave it it will go, maybe you have something like hayfever?
I have tonsillitis at the moment, check for a lump at the back of your throat because it is going round.
And then you can have the joy of tasting the wonderful creation called Penicillin. (LOL.)
