Maybe you had 3 days or so left, and you renewed. If that's the case, you will get the present in 3 days or so.

Yeah, if you renew your hc when you still have some hc left, you don't receive the gift. You get it at the beginning of each new month that you've been with Habbo club.
yeah and say you were gold HC and it ran out and you were on 14 months you would start again on 14 months.
