Upgrade to 64bit

Hi, is there a way to upgrade from vista 32-bit to 64-bit without loosing any files and without programs being touched?

Just wondering as I'm thinking of getting another 2GB of RAM but the most 32-bit will pick up is 3GB.

32-bit still utilises the 4gb just doesn't show. :P

Not sure weather I should just get 1GB at the moment or just go for another 2GB to make a total of 4GB.

Any suggestions? :P

If you can afford it, get the 4GB

I tell you now, if you have a Graphics Card, then that is total ********.

Even if you don't have 4GB, 64bit is, and is proven to be faster than 32bit.

Yeah, true.

But not by a massive ammount though. You won't be able to open programs and load games within a millionth of a second. xD
