HTML code to position text

I'm doing the content for my fansite, and I was wondering, what's the HTML code to postion text?

I know <center> = middle.

How to you get it to go to the right.

<p align="right"> ??

One the div just use text-align:right; OR <span style="float:right;">Blahh</span>

DONT USE CENTER! Its rubbish coding :P
