The Habbox Summer Spectacular
It's finally here! The Habbox Summer Spectacular is making a comeback, but this time bigger and better than ever! We are going to trounce what we brought you last year and hold over 100 events over the two week period we will be holding the Spectacular.
The basic premise of the Spectacular is you can join one of four teams, our staff have been split up and now you can join one of those teams, and compete in events and win points for that team. We also track individual standings, and even if you don't win much, you still win furniture prizes at each event. For more information, click here.
As we said, there are FOUR joinable teams, accessible by going to UserCP > Group Membership. They are:
But what do I get out of it? First of all, you can compete with loads of other teammates. Also, there's always the prizes prizes and more prizes! The top three scorers from EACH team will recieve VIP, Habbo Furni, and a Trophy from Staff or Habbox. The top three in the winning team will recieve bigger prizes!! Also, the top THIRTY members in the winning team will recieve a Habbo/VIP prize. Also, anyone who wins anything in the individual events will get prizes as well!
How do you join a team? Click USERCP and go to GROUP MEMBERSHIPS and join ONE team ;)
Also, coming soon are USERBARS to go under your name sporting your team. Also, there will be a section on the site for it!
As we bring new things to the Summer Spectacular we will reply to this thread. Below in the next two posts are the schedule and graphics for you to display your team colors.

Habbox Summer Spectacular - FIN
Two weeks, one hundred and TWENTY SIX events later, the Habbox Summer Spectacular is over. The Summer Spectacular was a MASSIVE success. To give you an idea of how big it was, 126 events were held over 14 days (smashing our original goal of 100), that's exactly 9 a day. Nearly every event was full, and each event for the most part ran for a full hour. We have had just over a thousand Habbos participate, and about 400 members joined our joinable groups on the forum. We had about 3000 unique hits on our Habbox.com HxSS pages, and over three thousand views of the Summer Spectacular announcement alone. And, we gave away over 200 HC in furniture (that we recorded anyway).
All in all, the Summer Spectacular was a rousing success. Obviously there are things that could be improved for next year, there will be a thread in feedback for you to give us your thoughts or ideas for improvement next year (if we do another repeat). But, enough with that stuff, you want to hear the winners!
First of all, just for those who missed the closing ceremonies, we did have a little fun and issue a few joke awards. Congratulations (or sorry) to the following:

The HxSS Executive Organizers have made an attempt to facilitate those who use Habbo, and those who don't really have much use for it. Therefore, we allow you to claim your prize in furniture, VIP, or a mixture of the two. All winners also get a trophy, as explained in the prizes. Your options for prize claims are seperated by a bolded OR. You can pick one of the options, and one trophy option (some may only have one trophy option).
