OD
Earlier today i consumed 5000mg of paracetamol.
After calming down i realized that i felt fine and it was lucky since my reasons for trying to take my own life were foolish.
However, i took a quick 2 hour nap until 9 o'clock and i felt quite normal but now i'm starting to feel really light headed and numb like - kinda drunk feeling.
Anyway, reckon am just being paranoid?
-
I'd just see if the feeling goes, if it doesn't then I would be worried.
-
I don't think anything will happen but my friends mum had to go in hospital for taking 4000mg so it'd be abit weird if i was completely fine.
-
id go see a doctor if i were u, sounds dangerous

Have some Paracetamol. Will make you feel better.
No, srsly, see a doctor or at least tell a parent so they know what's going on if you do pass out. That amount can in no way be healthy.
-
See a Doctor.
It's most likely nothing because 5000mg isn't enough to kill you, but it still needs to be checked out.
They'll most likely keep you in overnight to track your progress and if it's anything serious they will keep you in a bit longer.
Also by seeing a doctor you will get quicker help from a psychiatrist and seeing as you did this it is the best route to go down.
I OD'ed a few months ago so I'm telling you this from experience.

You may not have any problems for another 10 years, however Paracetomol is actually a toxic substance when introduced to the liver through the bloodstream. Injesting massive ammounts of it can lead to serious liver issues later on in life.
-
You should've made yourself throw up. Drink loads of water, unless you're already dead.
-
You've seriously damaged your liver, regardless of current effects that you feel. Go to a doctor. NOW.
-
You don't die the same day you take a paracetamol overdose, you could die a week later, so I would go see a doctor if I was you because more than likely your liver will start to fail, along with every other organ in your body then one day in around a week you'll just drop dead.
So be really scared about it because you can't just escape from a paracetamol overdose.
