Keylogger

I was wondering if I ever got keylogged, does that mean the "hacker"

could view my screen or just whatever I type?

keylogger is key logging...

It would do screen shots but it can be pointless.

Both in different cases, but only screenshots of your screen, from what I've witnessed and used.

I always thought it just records all key strokes.

A Keylogger is basically a script which compiles keystrokes of the hacked "victim" and usually emails to the hacker, or compiles to a file which is sent.
