Widnows live messenger

My WLM keeps messing up, it signs me in but wont change my status to online (because I sign in as appear offline) then it signs me out and says 'your status could not be changed' I have tried looking as Microsoft support pages but found nothing. Also I think some of my contacts are missing :(, The sign in problem has been happening for a while but the missing contacts is new.

This is what iv tried so far:
Disable firewall
Repair installation
Uninstall and reinstall
Uninstall and download different version (I chose 9 BETA)
Deleting my contacts list cache


I have no idea what to do anymore, iv emailed them for support but there taking ages. At the moment I am signed in, it just disconnects every so often.

XFIRE messenger ftw. MSN is slipping downhill imo.

MSN is constantly improving so it will have downtimes. not everything can stay up forever.

I uninstalled my BETA and now it works.
