Need Help

Il start from the start ... yesterday my grandma had a stroke in the morning so my mum went to wales ( where she lives ) to see her in hospital . she cant speak and she cant move her right side at all . I dont know what to do because my mum just got home and she always crying but im only a kid so i dont know what to do or say i just really need help.

I'm sorry to hear about that, but I'm not the best person to give advice on this particular subject because nothing like this has ever happened to me.

All I can suggest is help your mum around the house in whichever way you can, be loving and gentle with her, and tell her that your grandma is going to be just fine. Just remember not follow her around everywhere and talk to her24/7, because she probably wants to have some time alone, but just remember to be supportive.

I know what it feels like for your grandma to have a stroke as mine did couple of years ago now.

I'd just tell her that your there for her if she ever want someone to talk to. And comfort her if thats what she wants.

The first couple are week are the worst but your grandma may improve.

Tell me how it goes.

I remember when my Mum was dying :/ She didn't die though, because of me.

But all I can suggest in like a really struggling time is to just be there for her. I know it may seem selfish but at a time like this, don't go out with mates, stay at home and make her feel like you're not leaving her too (when people are emotional they think like this). Also just keep giving her hugs and just help around the house to make this stressful period easier for her.

Thats all I can say. I hope your Mums ok and your Nan recovers.

This happened to my nana, but it was a brain hemorage instead..

Is she concous? theres not much you can do.. your mom will want to be on her own i suppsoe.

Hope your mum takes this well and you nan recovers..
