A good way to teach english literature?
Hi
Well I think I have a good way to teach english literature for GCSE/A level etc. On whatever play the person is working on (for me, romeo + juliet), everyone should convert a scene into 'text talk' or 'internet talk'. Then, they should write what emotion etc has been lost from the passage by converting it into that, if you get what I mean. Obviously this shouldn't be done every day for the year, just for a few lessons but it would help a lot.
I think its good because most people will be interested in that, and it will help them learn more if they're interested in it :D
Please let me hear your views on this, I will bring this up with the head of english at my school sometime soon :)
