Hey, been a week or so since I designed something so I've done this, what do you guys think? :)

its looks good not to keen on the banner effect

Thanks :) Yeah wasn't too sure on the banner effect, I'll post an updated version with it just white.

I prefer the 1st one, because it has the weird grey bit which looks pretty sexi.

I think it looks too plain.
Maybe try adding a grey colour to the banner?
Dark grey..:P

Haha I just fooled around with the circle brush in PS and came out with that, quite pleased with it :)

Yeah it lacks something I agree with you there. If I made the banner dark grey it's in danger of becoming too bland if you ask me, the blue makes it fresh.
