frequent palpitation

its been happening for over a month now where im sitting still and then all of a sudden i can hear and feel my heart beat really loud + it really takes my mind off of other things im doing but its strange becos when it happens at every beat my body sort of jolts the tiniest bit

i read about it on wikipedia + it said that people experience things like these but if it keeps happening frequently that it cud be a sign of a heart problem shud i be worried about it or shud i just think nothing of it becos after reading wikipedia it has made me think abit

see your GP, it could be a heart murmer or something... my cousin has one her heart just doesn't go bump, bump, bump more like bump, bump bump bump, bump bump etc
