Hey all,
Due to Technical and personal issues that management has had to deal with the Forum Changes this week aren't all spectacular, but I have a feeling one will bring a lot of happiness :P So without further ado, this weeks changes are.
- The release of the Halloween Skin (WE TRICKED YOU!)
- Switching of Ruby and Sapphire starsets
- Increasing of personal message limits for some usergroups
- Advertising opportunities on HabboxForum
- News regarding the "Post Your" threads situation

Yes, the Halloween skin has been RELEASED and you will be able to use it for the next three weeks! We have been keeping this a secret and at one point lied to put the secret back under wraps! Our skinners have been working hard to ressurect this skin from old images and put a new touch on it as well.
Thanks to Jin for the bulk of the work getting back the skin, Favourtism for adding the finishing touches such as some of the images and the slime border, and -conz- for the awesome banner!
You can view the Halloween skin here, or select the Halloween Skin from the Skin Chooser at the bottom of the forum OR by changing default skin in your options.

We have switched the order of the Ruby and Sapphire Starsets by popular demand as those who had gone through ruby were starting over with the ruby starset, and those who cared in the poll overwhelmingly voted to switch ruby and sapphire. This change does not alter the system at all, simply the color of the stars under members' names.
The FAQs have been updated to reflect the change.
In an effort to minimize the effects of the usergroup change, PM limits for the top four ranks are being raised so as to give users the PM inboxes they had before the change. The rest of the changes will remain, the slight decreases in avatars were necessary but were not substantial and this the other thing that affected a significant portion of our members.
A small number of platinum members did, unfortunately, lose more, such as the ability to use invisble, though most can still have a profile picture but not as big, and can have a bigger signature though not as big. While these were regrettable circumstances they were necessary to provide features for the higher levels. Also, we felt that VIP-level privileges should be granted only to the top few.
However, as vBulletin comes out with new features we will be looking to supplement the userrank features using some of the new options so as to make up for the loss of features.
The changes in PM inboxes are as follows:
Bronze - 200
Silver - 250
Gold - 300
Ruby - 350
Sapphire - 400
Emerald - 450
Platinum -500
This will bring back all users (we believe) to previous PM levels and also some users will have more PMs than they did before the change, though they did not change levels.

Just an update on the "Post Your" threads situation, appeals for threads to be reopened can be made via Personal Message (and only personal message) to myself or Professor-Alex.
We will be reviewing our policy on Post Your threads and possibly making changes to it, until then please follow the PM policy, that is the easiest way to not only get things done but also get answers.
