Is it possible to make a throne from nothing?

Does anyone have a step by step guide to making furniture, on that other thread the main source of income suggested was by contests. However like any other contest is there not a considerably large chance of losing and so wasting your time?

How did you make your first throne, or hc for that matter.

Did any of you make any thrones or hc's from nothing, and did not buy anything using credits? Or from friends you know?

I already know of ways such as in game and website contests, but I'm not so inclined to try these, as competition would be so large that any chance of winning would be hard.

So step by step, how to turn nothing, into a norm, into a hc, into a throne.

Good question.
Here's how I got quite a few HCs / thrones a while back...

1) Win random norms from bets, comps. This is really not hard... :)
2) Trade each norm for 1 credit.
3) Trade 14 credits for a HC.
4) Trade HCs for thrones.

This, I think, is the simplest way. You have to be nice to the people are forget about the whole "o noez it's 10 pines for hc lolol", because you will be there for days.

I think Matt has pretty much covered what I was going to say, but I will add that you can win a countless amount of norms from giveaways.

Very like this, but once youve got 10HCS or something, you can either carry on with the slow way or do a profit making way. Buy something for UNDER Habbox Price then sell OVER it. However, if you see many trades under it, the likelyhood is that its going to go down, so if you see something like this.. don't do something like that! A good starting point is a Pillow, Dragon, ICM or a Throne Sofa (maybe)
