I have my wireless all set up and ready go but i havent braught any live yet. is there anyway i can get some free like a 48 hour trial or something.

sign up on xbox.com theres normally a banner sying "try for free" and they give you a month.

Otherwise im sure you get 1 free month if you have a premium console.

I signed up on sunday and got a month free.
