They're good for kids as I doubt any kid would be much heartbroken if one of there goldfish had died, and also they can learn responsibility by being able to feed them and change their water etc.

Their really for little kids when they want a pet, They get told like No cat or dog you can have a goldfish noone cares if they die so they let the children take care of it.
What most people don't realise is how stunning these creatures are, they are so pretty and colourful swimming around in their tank, especially if you have good lighting. It's also quite soothing to watch them swim around.Quote:
