I found it right next to my house in a flat on the floor near another house so I took it and I was going to tell someone that works at the flat. He wasn't there and I saw my friend and I told him and another worker overheard me "They said spend it on yourself!" Bad thing is the other worker could the porter. What shall I do?

Alright, Am just gonna hide cause am scared the guy that works there is gonna tell the other employee. I also hid cause my friend wants 5 quid out of it.
Never ever tell anyone when you find money (On HxF it's fine but y'no in real life). People begin expecting things from you, ask you to donate it to Charity or claim it was theirs in the first place. It'll be gone before you know it if you tell someone so I wouldn't bother mentioning it otherwise you'll find out this lesson the hard-way like I've done twice.
