Bank alts
Half rant/Half e-peen :P
Firstly, how many people here have them? I started one a few weeks back due to lack of storage on my main, but I've really started using it for selling things like ore while I'm grinding for my Mechano-hog (5000g/12,500g at the moment :D). I found it's a good way to stop myself from spending it on my main as there are little pointless things I want like Dalaran Intellect and Brilliance.
Second, why do people not realise that if someone who has "Bank" in their name is selling something on trade that they're probably a bank alt, so many people /w me with "*** how did a lvl1 get dat??!".
Also, I just dropped 50 EoH to buy him a rocking mace, checkit:

I prefer these simple steps:
1) Make a druid
2) Get to 10
3) Do the bear quest
4) Now you have a bear in charge of your moneys.

Meh... cba with a bank, i just store my money on my shammy.
-
If I had any money, what with raiding costing me 700-1k gold per week then it would be stored on my shammy.
-
I have one but it tends to be poorer than all my other chars cause I never send my money to it (not that I have any money anyway).
-
I store all my dosh on my Hunter, can't stand having my money spread out. But bank alt-wise, I have two. One was originally for BC stuff (herbs, netherweave etc) but seeing as WoTLK came out I made a new one for Northrend stuff. Greens and stuff get sent to the old one to get disenchanted by guildies etc.
I auction stuff on these alts, and because I usually overprice them I don't want them tracking down who overcharged them ;p

There's this one ******* wrecking the JC economy.
Ahem?
-
Nah I don't deal in that crap. It's more herbs/cards/food buffs/relics of ulduar and enchanting stuff.

This thread inspired me.
