As much as I dislike her...

... Miley Cyrus' cover of 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' is probably one of the better versions I have heard. It's so lively and sounds so much more relevant in contemporary music terms than the older covers.

This is coming from someone who generally dislikes Miley Cyrus and her excuse for a vocal. It's very American... but the first minute of the song is particularly surprising.
