Couple of things I want to ask...
1) Is there any way of jailbreaking them without voiding warranty?
2) I have a current O2 contract with the web bolt on, will this be sufficient to browse the web on my iPhone?

1) Well no, but if you have problems all you have to do is restore your phone via iTunes and it will be back to the normal firmware. Meaning they won't know you've jailbroken it.Quote:

Mind changed for the moment, contemplating whether to just go for an old 2G one for half the price.

When you buy iPhone 3G pay and go at o2 they give you a free web bolt on.
Also, I wouldn't buy, they're updating the iPhone in 3 months.
I would go for the 3g.
