There are two ipod touches in the family, one which has the downlaoded 2.2.1 update and one that doesnt. There's no point in downloading twice which will take ages... so where are they located on a PC?

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer
Somewhere in there on Vista.
If you go into "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\" and do a search for .ipsw it'll come up.
