Looks very nice :) Id probably use a different banner image though considering how over used that one is.

What do you mean by what should go to the left? Like other images, text, or what? xD

Maybe make some gradient on the pink and blue background will makes it looks better.

I just redone the box,

On the left is news, on the right is the radio box with stats etc.
