You can have 2GB MAX from what the scanner is saying.
You'll be spending around £50-60 to get 2GB RAM for that. You need 2 x 1GB modules/sticks. Look for PC-3200 or PC-2700.

Open up your case and check how many slots your motherboard has. As I know my freinds old computer only had one.
I would reccommend getting 4GB so your computer is future ready, so to speak. This is the best RAM - Price ratio I could find.

I would go with something like that, no point paying LOADS on your RAM
