My dad and brother agree with you. My dad said whole point of terminator was them getting chased by some terminator and it didn't have that. I haven't seen it myself though.

Basically you'll remember I imagine (if you've seen any of the first 3) that Terminators don't tend to die easily, but with the exception of one, maybe two if you include the "good" one, they appear to go down to a couple of bullets in this film. Skynet apparently got bored of making efficient killing machines and instead made slow humanoid lumps of metal

It was rubbish. CGI Arnie, 2 main characters that I got confused over who was who and the terminators died far too easily.

It was awful.

I guess I'm the only one who liked it then. ^_^

Well, it was the "point" of the first three, but a film based around the eventual war was inevitable, and it was time to do so. Two more films have already been greenlit, so maybe they will be more like the original trilogy.
