Any 'free' decent video editing software out there?

I'm looking for some free editing software to run on windows, or even some trial software that I can use for the moment.

I'm trying the new Movie Maker.

No. The half decent ones cost a lot of money, such as Adobe After Effects or Sony Vegas. But of course, you can always torrent these..

I think I might cheers, which one wold you reccomend?

Vegas personally.
