Shipping Help [+REP]

When I go to buy something off this website it says that I live in England. There is no option to change this although all my postal details are correct
will it still ship to me in Northern Ireland.

The receipt from the site said this, I didn't really realize it until it was too late but

Also, how long does it take for a 1st Class International package to be sent from US to UK and will I have to pay any additional fees?

If your actual paypal recipt says UK then it's fine. You would receive your items to your address in Northern Ireland.

1st class can take around 1 day to 2. But if there's delays for whatever reason it can be 2-3.

But from the US it should get to you before a couple of days. :)

EDIT: Oh before I forget closer to Christmas can take longer so you may want to allow up to 5 days/ a week!

I'm just hoping to get it by Friday. Do I need to pay any extra fees for Royal Mail delivering it to me.

hmm, do you have the option of switching mail providers?

Global Express Mail is pretty good if you can choose.

But if it says how much 1st class will cost and you pay it through you paypal when you order the item, then there should be no additional costs unless in the small print.

It was like $5 for delivery, the parcel is about the size of an ipod.

Well I know a few mates who send CDs back to one another and they usually arrive 2-4 days after, no hidden or extra charges.

So yeah, it should be fine lol :P

My sister ordered something 1st class from usa. Took 2week.

What mail service was she with?

Also what did she get/order from the states?

USPS (not UPS) Priority 1st Class International and I think it was some music.

Basically unless you go through a specialist courier like UPS or DHL, everything you order from the states is handled by USPS who put it on planes, then once it gets through customs in the UK, Parcelforce usually take over.

She had to pay a customs release fee although I forgot how much it was.

Ahhh yeah, this is why I was asking if you could choose, because I know some companies won't add any charges and only take around 2-7 days to arrive.
