i like girls, and im a girl. me and my girlfriend are proper an 'item', we feel we are ready for sex, and im happy about that, i dont want to sound desperate but she mates me, um, horny? if thats the word im looking for, we have had 'it' once, and it was just a tongue and undressing, basically, kissing in bed. and i havent told anyone yet, neither has she, but my mums always asing about my boyfriend, and i dont want to tell her i dont have a boyfriend, that i have a girlfriend. its getting on my nerves now, so anyone know how to tell mum the news? thanksyouuu! :rolleyes:

This could just be a phase you're going through and I'd make sure you were gay because imagine coming out of the closet and realising it was just a phase and you were really straight but anywhoo, if you're sure that you want to come out of the closet then do it. Just make sure you tell someone you can completely confide in and trust, that being a parent/sibling/friend and it should get easier from there on.

May i ask what age you are

You seem about 13? so i don't think you'd be sure you're lesbian :P

Anyway, to bring this back on topic.. I agree with toughened's advice. Maybe give it a little time and make sure that you aren't just going through a phase, then try telling some of your friends or a sibling if you have one. If you tell a sibling, they may even be able to help you sit your parents down and tell them about it. It won't be easy, and your parents may freak out initially, but they love you and you'll get through it alright :) Good luck!

Well I think you need to tell your mum if your definately positive your a lesbian. But if your not, just wait. The best way to do it, if your shy & cant tell your mum in the face is to maybe write a note or letter explaining everything.
