does anyone know if companies/employers in ireland are still taking on apprentices?
I was paid off from my electrical apprentiship about 2 months ago and i cant find work anywhere. :( Its really frustrating!! Companies only seem to be taking on fully qualified people now!
I'm trying soo hard not to end up in a dead ender atm but its not lookin too hopefull.

No idea, but it's tough times - fully qualified and experienced workers are now taking lower paid jobs than they're used to and are over-qualified for just to have a job.
umm, do you only wanna find work in Ireland? I know people take on apprentices elsewhere in the UK.
that is tight that they have cut you off mid-way. is there not a local college that you can take a similiar course in for free or for so little money?

jkes lol, tesco and most shops tke on christams staff try that
go self employed, easier these days.
You can't become a self-employed electrician right off the bat.
couldnt go self employed cuz im not fully qualified. only completed nvq 1 in installation.
gonna go for this though, big company so it would be a mazin job :D
